The National Fallen Heroes Foundation was Chartered when the disheartening news that a new milestone was surpassed in the fall of 2005. The number of American casualties associated with the fight against terrorism to keep our land free, to protect all Americans from harm and the effort to liberate Iraq from tyranny, had exceeded 2000. Reports from Iraq and statements issued by the White House indicate that this effort will continue, with more American Military Casualties surely to come. Whether you support or take issue with the actions being taken in this fight; we could not turn away from the fact that our brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, daughters and sons, friends and neighbors continue to make sacrifices in the name of these United States of America. As a consequence, thousands of torn families are suffering from loss and despair with uncertain futures before them. Let us also not forget there are many brave soldiers who continue to protect us in other foreign lands and here at home. While the National Fallen Heroes Foundation has its roots related to the fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, every family who loses a family member in the call to duty is eligible to receive funding from the National Fallen Heroes Foundation
We realize that there is plenty of talk about the gratitude felt for the men and women who have given their lives, but also understand that gratitude could not clothe, feed or house their families. By joining with us, the National Fallen Heroes Foundation can make a difference in their lives |
